George Sherlock, my 4th great grandfather, and father of Louisa A. Sherlock (Kenny), was born in England sometime around 1800. He emigrated to Nova Scotia before 1824 when his daughter was born. I have found little information on George. I do know his wife was born in Newburyport, Mass and was also named Louisa. I suspect they lived in Nova Scotia for most of their lives.The Name "Sherlock" comes from England in the 6th century and has a large presence in Ireland.
For now the Sherlock line comes to an end. If I find anything new I'll pick it up again.
