They resided in Coventry, a town just east of Hartford that was established in 1712 and is the birthplace of Nathan Hale. Simeon and Anna had 8 children: Simeon (Jr), Ann, Lydia, Jeremiah, Lois, Irene, Abigail, and Tryphena.
- Lydia married Elijah Robinson, who was an officer in the Revolutionary war, a Representative from Wethersfield, VT, and a Judge in Windsor, VT. He served as a Colonel in military actions before the war, and was elected Brigadier General (but declined the post).
- Abigail married Nathaniel Ladd, a farmer from Woodstock, VT
- Jeremiah fought in the Revolutionary War in the first Berkshire Massachusetts regiment in 1777
- Simeon (Jr) was "quartermaster of the troop of horse" in Connecticut's 5th regiment.
Neither Simeon's nor Anna's year of death or gravesite are currently known. It is generally believed that they died relatively young but after 1757.
i really appreciate your doing all of this. I decided to start at the beginning and really take note of it all.
