Eliza Gray, my wife's great great grandmother, and mother of Lydia Kirk, was born in Cupar, Fife Co, Scotland in 1839.
She was married to George Kirk in 1860, and in 1861 was living in Beath, Scotland with George and George Jr. who was 3 months old.
By 1881 She lived back in Cupar with the children while her husband (and probably George Jr) were living in America. The rest of the family joined him later that year. The children were George Jr, Robert, Rebecca, Lydia, Thomas, Eliza, Helen, Alexander, and Elizabeth.
Eliza died at 47 in Waverly, South Dakota in 1886. She is buried with her husband in Kalispell, Montana. I believe she was reinterred here later.
I haven't found anything else on Eliza. Her maiden name is obtained from unverified information. For now this line will not be pursued.
This finishes the fifth generation relatives.
